A leadership-oriented quality management program based on Total Quality Process (TQP)

 

In this one-day workshop, leaders and managers learn how to manage quality as a company-wide process using the Total Quality Process (TQP) framework. The course focuses on leadership commitment, quality planning, system design, measurement, and sustaining quality over time.

Who This Is For

This workshop is recommended for senior and middle management, quality leaders, and process owners responsible for leading and sustaining quality across the organization.

Course Approach

This highly interactive workshop combines short lectures, group activities, and real-world case studies. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to apply TQP principles to lead, sustain quality and govern quality improvement.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain the Principles of Quality and their role in managing quality

  2. Describe the TQP framework (House of TQP) and its role-based structure

  3. Define the Four Key Management Activities for managing quality

  4. Design and deploy quality management systems and measurements

  5. Understand management’s role in leading, sustaining, and governing quality improvement

  • The TQP Framework (House of TQP)

2. Key Activity 1: Making a Commitment

  • Leadership commitment and quality vision

  • Role of management in driving culture change

3. Key Activity 2: Planning for Quality Management

  • Forming a Quality Management Team (QMT)

  • Creating quality awareness across the organization

  • Educating everyone on quality management and improvement

  • Preparing the organization for goal setting

4. Key Activity 3: Putting Systems into Motion

  • Setting up work process measurements

  • Measuring quality (Cost of Quality)

  • Forming Quality Action Teams for problem solving

  • Recognizing participation and contributions

5. Key Activity 4: Keeping It Going

  • Ensuring quality activities are ongoing

  • Reviewing and recognizing the Quality Management Team’s success

  • Management’s role in leading and sustaining TQP

  • Summary and closing

Award of Certificate

Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who have attended at least 75% of the workshop
