5S TECHNIQUES
workshop
Build Workplace Discipline. Sustain Operational Excellence.
Description
5S is a foundational Lean tool that promotes workplace organization, standardization, and efficiency. It provides a systematic approach to eliminate waste, improve visual management, and create safe, clean, and productive work environments. The name “5S” refers to five Japanese terms: Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke—translated as Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
This practical course helps participants understand the principles of 5S, implement each step effectively, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. Participants will learn how to conduct workplace audits, sustain gains, and engage teams in driving operational excellence.
