The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) is a multidisciplinary scientific and regulatory agency that serves to protect and advance national health and safety, and is organized into three main groups - the Health Products Regulation Group, the Blood Services Group, and the Applied Sciences Group. In keeping with its vision is to be the leading innovative authority protecting and advancing national health and safety, HSA has partnered with Operational Excellence Consulting to equip some 150 managers and staff of the Blood Services Group with 5S and visual management knowledge and skills so as to enhance the nation’s blood supply by ensuring a safe and adequate blood supply for public and private hospitals. The 5 classes of workshop were delivered from 16 March to 13 April 2015.

The Government to Citizen (G2C) Office of the Royal Government of Bhutan is a direct function under the Prime Minister's Office. Its main mandate is to spearhead all public service delivery initiative in Bhutan. The G2C Office is interested to acquire in-depth knowledge and develop application capability in the Total Quality Management (TQM) domain in order to enhance service delivery and improve on the service standards.
