Lean Management Assessment Toolkit (PowerPoint PPT Deck)

DESCRIPTION

The Lean Management Assessment (LMA) Toolkit is a facilitation-ready diagnostic resource designed to help organizations evaluate Lean maturity, identify improvement opportunities, and benchmark operational performance.

Lean Management Assessment (LMA) Framework —

PDCA cycle, five maturity levels, and eight dimensions.

Grounded in the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, the toolkit defines five levels of maturity and evaluates both process and behavior standards. Adapted from David Mann’s Creating a Lean Culture, it provides a simpler, more practical alternative to the Shingo Model and Baldrige Excellence Framework.

The toolkit includes:

  • Eight assessment dimensions covering visual controls, accountability, leader standard work, and problem-solving.

  • Five-level maturity model to benchmark Lean implementation.

  • 5-point scoring system with worksheets and radar charts for easy application.

  • Facilitation-ready format for consultants, leaders, and teams to run assessments effectively.

This makes the LMA Toolkit a hands-on resource for guiding organizations toward sustainable Lean transformation.

NOTE: This assessment toolkit consists of:
1. Lean Management Assessment guide
(PowerPoint format)
2. Lean Management Assessment Worksheets (PowerPoint format)
3. Radar Chart (for score profiling, Excel format)
